Sunrise Sunset

WOW, this weather is changing quickly it seems. It's been so very cold! And the sun is rising and setting at a new time every day. It sure will be nice when Daylight Savings Ends and we have a couple more hours of sunlight again, won't it?! Of course, it will be short lived, but it will be nice for the little time it's here.

I have begun to put some feelers out for locations that I could use on a "as needed" basis, as I really do not desire to have a studio. It would cause me to raise my rates, and I think they are quite reasonable and VERY competitive at the prices they are at now. If you know of anyone that owns a business with an extra room, please spread the word to them. I would be more than willing to give them a donation as the room is used, but do not want to get into any type of lease. I want to keep your memories affordable for you!

As we sit here, the last few rays of the sun are gone and it is now starting to get dark. I find myself thinking about each shot that could be taken at this time of the early evening. It's funny... I now find myself driving thinking about those same types of things. I came up with some extremely fun ones today!

I look forward to Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week... I have a Photo Session each of those days! It's always so fun to anticipate what it will be like, and then even more exciting once the images begin to be created! I just love this!!! PRAISE GOD!

Hey... send me your feedback... would your family be interested in a 20 minute session each 2 months that would include some prints, and themed photos? My giflfriend Michele and I are working together to begin this bi-monthly event for many of the local scrapbookers. If this is something you would be interested in, send me a quick email or leave a comment on this blog.

Many hugs, and GOD BLESS YOU!
Jamie

May I make a suggestion-traveling studio. I would assume you would just need some lighting and some sort of background :)

for you. photography said...

Hey Anonymous! I absolutely LOVE the traveling shoots that I have been doing so far, just came in from doing some this afternoon... brr... 40 degrees and 20 mph winds. We had to hide in the woods, lol!

However, Loving it! I definitely prefer that instead of a studio. I was only thinking about a location on rainy days... or a blizzard.

I'd love to hear more about fast set up on lighting if I travel into a home, if you have anymore to share. I love suggestions!!! Thanks for your comments. Hope to hear from you again. ;-)

Oh I'm sorry you misunderstood me. I like your traveling studio photos too. What I meant by a traveling studio is your background & a background stand support system-maybe some sort of additional lighting not sure what you have. You can go to your client's house or if you have a little bit of space you could have a temp studio in your own house. Easy storage too! If you were able to put a temp studio area in your house that would also save you on paying out for use of a building.
