Playing in the rain... Or wait, is that water?

Look at the shear joy in these images! “Who would’ve ever thought Mommy would say to go play in the water”... I’m sure is what she is thinking! I remember when her Mom said, “it’s okay G – go ahead, you can get wet.” She just looked at her Mom like “Are you sure?” It was priceless! These are the beautiful and fabulous fountains that the newly renovated Washington Park has, and boy did she have fun!!!! These were my favorite images from the day... Enjoy...

And as always, Until next time.... :-)

A Morning at the Farm

Aren’t these two just sweet as ever? Every time I see L’s face I just laugh because she is so darn cute! And big brother, well ... What a handsome man!!!! They were such troopers out on the farm, and we found lots of fun things to play on! I think their Momma and Grandma were worn out by the end of the shoot, but I had a ball. Wouldn’t you if you got to play all day too? :-) Look at that sweet pic of them together... Makes your heart melt, doesn’t it.

:-) Until next time...

I had the privilege to help Mrs. Jessie Graves with her marketing materials for her brand new line of adorable baby girl headbands... www.wherebabiesbloom.com! We had SOO much fun together, and she has just the sweetest spirit ever. I cannot wait to see the success of her business unravel, she is amazing! We will be using her line in our Sessions, and cannot wait to see some more of the images that come from those. One thing that astonished me... They fit NEWBORN thru ADULT!!!!! Now THAT is some major stretching! Spread the word about her business, and watch for more of her lines to come each season!

:-) Until next time...

Three Balls of Fire

Grandma called me early this Spring to see if I could do a session with her grandsons when they came home from Texas. We met one afternoon this summer, and these boys were ADORABLE to say the least!!!!! They kept me on my toes, but we had SO much fun! We ran, we chased, we tackled… well, I let them tackle each other – they would’ve knocked me over! HA HA! Anyways, I think we got some amazing images for Grandma – just what she was hoping for. Loved the outfits!!!

I must say that I’ve grown a little attached to this little guy even though I only see Mister J every couple months. I just adore his Mom and Dad, and always look forward to seeing how he’s grown. I’ve even found myself calculating in my head when his Mom will need her next pics of him because I can’t wait to see them! J This is the same little guy that you see on my website in the basket with blue… growing like a munchkin! Can’t wait to see you again, hugs!

You know I was going to end there, but typing the details above about Mister J made me realize something… my profession is absolutely priceless. What occupation can you truly say that you’ve watched a child grow from the beginning and into who they are? I find myself praying that I have the honor to capture these families all the way thru their children’s lives, as I just love them each to pieces. What an honor!!!!

Thank You Mommy & Daddy

This family was such a joy to work with, and boy were they troopers! It was a hot steamy day of around, oh 105, when we did this shoot. We ran around and made the most of it. The boys have a Mommy and Daddy that are in the service, and we were able to capture some very special images for their Daddy. They have a “daddy doll” which is an image of their Dad on a doll, and they can then hold him, give him kisses, etc – it was a very special moment for me. I’ve gotten to know the boys’ Mom pretty well since this time, and she is just a doll and is holding her head up high being a single Mom while Dad is overseas. I’m very proud of all that she does, as well as their Daddy too! We can’t wait until he comes home in October! J

Thanks so much for keeping our country safe, here at home and overseas! I look forward to many more fun shoots with your family, and oh – by the way, have a blast on your Honeymoon!!!!

What a great time!

We have been SO busy that I've allowed the blog to get behind, so sorry friends! The studio is going well, and we are getting things in order. I am going to play a little catch up over the next couple days with the help of my good friend, Jen, who has graciously offered to lend a hand. So... let's get started! This is Gage, and we had a blast to say the least! The evening was full of laughs, hysterical laughs, and some carseat shuffling! (Thank you Murphy's for being patient with us) I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting your family, and anxiously await the next Photo Session we have together!

Today, I had the privilege to do Kale Gastler's indoor session. He brought in some pretty cool props, and to avoid spoiling it for everyone - I'll just show you a few of my favs! Kale is an amazing young man, and I think he has an exciting future ahead of him. Big dreams + Big goals = HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENTS!

Enjoy!

sweet sweet "N"

While at our Family Reunion, I had the joy of doing a session with my sweet nephew "N." We had SOO much fun, and he was just hilarious! Cayden and Kai helped me as well, so it was a family affair... they were so proud to be my helpers.

For those of you that have been following our progress as we get the studio ready to open, this is the same little face that you see on all of our signage... all grown up. WOW, how fast time flies by! "N" lives in TX, so we do not get to see him much except during the summer. I can't wait to see how big he is for our next family get together in late July!

Love ya "N"!!!

I won't tell you what she called her boots, but aren't they fab!!! :-) We had so much fun, as we beat the heat and created these amazing images! And her Mom... well, she's just as cute as Lexy - they are so much fun together!

And look what we just happened to find out where we were at! SOO funny! Lexy said "That might be a bit TOO country for me" but I bet she'll be thrilled with how it turned out. :-)

And my absolute favorite... whohooo!!!! STUNNING!

Baby "I" was a bundle of joy!

I just cannot wait to show you these new baby images - Baby "I" did so marvelous!! He didn't move at all, and fell right to sleep when his Mommy and Daddy started to put him down for his nap. It was probably the fastest baby session I've had, and we got some great shots! I just love newborn photography - it is so very special, and fun! And of course, I just love to snuggle up with them too.... well, that is, if the Mommy and Daddy don't mind. ;-)

Enjoy "S' family - your bundle of joy is just precious!

Leaving for a fabulous photography conference tomorrow, excited about what it brings to the table for our business and for our images!

Hugs, Jamie

Sweet Little "R"

Hello Summertime! We are quickly adjusting the the new daily routine with the boys being out of school, and as I speak they are out playing in the hose. OOh, sounds cold to me, but they are loving it! :-) Oh to be young again, and enjoy simple things like COLD WATER. WINK!

"R's" Mom has been waiting so patiently for a sneak peek at her images, and they are a lot of fun! She and I had a blast playing with things like bubbles, chalk, my reflector poles, and all kinds of things with "R." Such a sweet and inquisitive little girl! I had a great time - although, I must say that I think Mom left exhausted. I know you Mom's know what that is like trying to chase children around for that one perfect pose, we've all done that - right?!

Thanks Mom! Give "R" a hug and I'll talk to you soon.
Jamie

On a side note... Congrats Seniors! Be careful tonight, and enjoy your big day!!

This family has waited so patiently for their Sneak Peek - thank you, thank you!!! I think you'll like what is to come!!! We had a blast last Saturday, quite chilly, but we had fun anyways! A certain little someone was pretty ornery and would not smile, but Mom, I managed to capture this one for you. We've got a few more up our sleeve too... and our handsome Mr... well... they are just cute! ;-)

Can't wait to show you!

Look who's 1 mo old! Little "J" man!

WOW time sure does fly by! What an honor - I received a call from one of my Clients, well maybe it was an email - not sure, asking when I could do a quick session with her son who would be one month old. I felt so honored to have that asked of me so quickly after a newborn session! I hope to be able to watch this little munchkin grow right before my very eyes, isn't he SO beautiful?!?!?!

He was so good, but boy, we sure couldn't get any smiles out of him. I have lots of surprises Mom, you'll love them! Enjot this first.....

Thank you C & C - it was definitely a blast! I cannot wait to see him the next time you need some more images.
Hugs, Jamie
