My First Maternity Session!

Here are a couple of sneak peeks for this new Mom & Dad. The two of them are so darn adorable, and were so much fun! I hope this is a family that I can have the joy of capturing each special moment as they begin their lives... a new baby, a new marriage to come, and many more children I'm sure! What a joy!

Thank you J & N for sharing in this special time in your lives! ENJOY!

I absolutely was SO nervous! For those of you that know me, know that I do not get nervous very often, but boy - I was a wreck. This was the first time we had used our lighting, and I was struggling to get some things right so I think that is what got me so anxious. However, we had an absolute BLAST, and I got some really great and fun shots.

N family

These are just a few of my favorites from our fabulous session last week! We had so much fun, laughed so hard, and got some GREAT shots! This tractor was parked in the garage, and when I saw it, I said... OOH, that is awesome! Before I knew it, it was out in the field and we were using it as a prop... whohoo!!! How awesome is that?!?!

"P" family

I am so excited to share these with you, and do wish I could share even more of them. I just simply need to get a website designed so that I can... these are all so fabulous! I had a hard time picking which ones to show you. :-) After viewing her images, I got the sweetest note from Mom regarding her joy over the pictures. I was so honored, thank you!!

Big hugs, and have a great Thanksgiving! Bless you and your family!!!

"K" family pictures are here

Good Morning Everyone! Okay, okay... so if you are a night owl like me then you probably know it's not really morning. HA HA, busted! I just knew most people would check this when they get the email that it has been updated. (must be subscribed to get auto notifications of updates - very easy, and does not send you junk emails, etc)

Once again, BRRRRR.... it was cold outside! This family was a joy to get to know in the quick time we were together. And "J" was just as sweet as he looks! I just loved his demeanor, there was just something about him that was special. I took probably 100 pics of him alone, so you can imagine how hard it was for me to cut that down.

"K" family, thank you for allowing me to capture your interactions and turn them into images.
Jamie

Brrr... They sure were troopers, It's Cold outside!

We had so many laughs together during this shoot! All the while, we were shivering because of how quickly the temperature was dropping. OOPs! This is one fo the joys of Natural light shooting, lol. We captured some fun times with the "F" family, and I think they will be very excited to see how our fun turned into images!!

And last, but not least, "E" - thank you for being so fun!!!! I know it was cold, but I was SO very proud of you!!! High Five!!

I'm a TAD behind.... oops!

Hey Everyone! Whew, talk about a whirlwind of a week! The last week I have been with the boys, they both had walking pnem'a! YUCK! It was a long weekend to say the least. And my poor husband, his birthday was spent at the Doctor's office with the boys getting blood drawn, bummer!

I had three sessions this past week as well, so I will be posting two of the three tonight, and hope to have the third before Turkey Day! I would love for you to be able to share with your families over the holidays, so I will attempt to have it all there in time. :-)

Be sure to take a moment to reflect upon what you are thankful for as we go about your days this week. I am thankful for all the blessings that God has bestowed on us this year in our home, and I am thankful for a healthy and vibrant family. I am also thankful for each of you that have taken a moment to share my blog with your friends and family. It has truly been felt!!

I am excited to tell you that my room is almost ready for drywall... I cannot wait! My husband is wonderful and has been working diligently to get it done before my first Maternity shoot next month. THANK YOU MATT, I love you!!! Also, stay tuned for a sneak peek of who is joining this fabulous adventure with us!!!!!!!

Many hugs and blessings to you!
Jamie

I had the joy of working with K family last week. They have been patiently waiting for a sneek peak at their pictures, so I am going to add this one tonight and will add more tomorrow at some point I hope. We had a blast trying to get little A to smile, she was just hilarious! And big A was just a HAM! Girls, I had a blast and B&K, thank you for allowing me to capture your family.

C family

I had the privilege of shooting my great friend's (and cousin) family this past week, and boy did we have fun. It is so neat to be able to be a part of a family for a day, and capture those times that are so intimate, and the not so intimate... ha! We had an absolute blast, and my jaw hurt I had laughed so much! These are some of my favorites!

Halloween pictures of boys!

Here are the little guys in their Halloween costumes, and Daddy in his VERY scary costume! LOL! (My husband loves to make silly faces like that and take a picture. I think he's put a similar picture on everyone's phone in our family at some time, ha!

Just in time for the Holidays!

We heard you loud and clear! After many requests, Michele Pickett and Jamie Gower are teaming up to offer monthly Mini Sessions to capture the special moments in your child’s life. Life passes us by so very quickly, with so many things along the way to capture, which is what we want to help you do!

Our goal is to create times in your child’s life that we each treasure so dearly. We will use the natural sunlight so that your child/ren are at ease, and able to be themselves. We will offer the sessions each month, in fifteen minute appointments. When scheduling, we will give you suggestions for what your child should/should not wear to make the picture sharp. My goal is to not overwhelm the picture with props and such, but to make the focus what you want… your child.

November’s focus will be… Reminisce.
Thursday, November 20th from 2-5

December will be… Anticipation.
Saturday, December 13th from 10-3

We are now accepting appointments for November and December. The next two sample sessions will be available for viewing and scheduling beginning the day of the session mentioned above. We will require that we have at least four appointments for the day to be held, so spread the word and let’s have fun! You may schedule your appointment by calling Michele Pickett at 224.4629 or Jamie Gower at 779.1215.

Your $30 includes a fifteen minute session, four 4x6 proofs, one 5x7 with 8 billfolds of one image, and coordinating Creative Memories paper and stickers, along with 10% off any additional print orders. We will gladly accept cash or check when you arrive for your appointment. (Credit cards will be accepted with a 3.5% convenience fee)

We look forward to seeing each of you!
Michele Pickett & Jamie Gower

Whew, did we have fun!!!

I apologize for being a tad behind, I've had an influx of things going on this past week and haven't quite caught up. This is my first step to doing so though, whohoo!

I had a great time with C B & A last week. They kept me on my toes and we ran all over their property. It was a tad cold so we came in periodically, but they sure did amazing! However, I have found that getting more than one child to smile at the same time is quite interesting... my own children were the hardest! LOL, but it's a fun challenge and all the kids love to see me running around or making funny noises trying to get them all to laugh in unison. ;-)

I can't wait to see what is to come! Here is a sneak peek of these pictures...
